Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected,
used, and shared when you visit epicbr.org (the “Site”).
The Baton Rouge Epicurean Society (The Society) places a high priority on
protecting your privacy. This privacy policy was created in order to
demonstrate the Society’s firm commitment to the privacy of our
members and website users. This policy explains what types of
information is collected by the Baton Rouge Epicurean Society's website,
www.epicbr.org, and how this information is used.
Subject to certain exceptions set out below, on receipt of a verifiable
request from you, we will:
1. Delete your personal information from our records; and
2. Direct any service providers to delete your personal information from
their records.

IP ADDRESSES
The Epicurean Society uses your IP address to help diagnose problems
with our server, to administer www.epicbr.org, and for statistical metrics

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use your personal information to provide you with personalized
service; to send e-mail alerts to you; to answer your requests; to process

GOOGLE LLC
We use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Website
Optimizer, and Google Fonts.
• Google Tag Manager is a tag management service and we use it to
manage the tags or scripts needed on the Site in a centralizedfashion. This results in the Users' Data flowing through these
services, potentially resulting in the retention of this Data.
• Google Analytics is a web analysis service and we use it to help us
understand how visitors use the Site. Google utilizes the Data
collected to track and examine the use of the Site, to prepare
reports on its activities and share them with other Google services.

META PLATFORMS, INC
We use Meta Pixel and Meta Custom Audience.
• Meta Pixel allows user behavior to be tracked after they have been
redirected to the provider’s website by clicking on a Meta ad on

measure the effectiveness of ads for statistical and market
research purposes. The data collected in this way is anonymous to
us, i.e. we do not see the Personal Data of individual users.
