Get Ready to Peel and Party! Crawfête 2026 is Set for March 22nd

The Baton Rouge Epicurean Society (BRES) is thrilled to announce the return of one of our most celebrated annual events: Crawfête! As a signature component of our mission, Culinary for a Cause, this event is an unforgettable culinary celebration that perfectly captures Louisiana’s deep love for crawfish, gourmet dishes, and local craft beverages.

Mark your calendars! Crawfête 2026 is happening on Sunday, March 22, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at the beautiful Live Oak at Cypress Lodge.

A Feast for a Cause

For three glorious hours, the lawn will transform into a crawfish lover’s paradise. Attendees will dive into mountains of perfectly Boiled Crawfish, but the true excitement lies in the competition! Area's top restaurants and dedicated crawfish boilers will be serving up their best, alongside creative and sophisticated Gourmet Crawfish Inspired Dishes.

And you get a vote! Be sure to cast your ballot for the People’s Choice Award for BEST BOILED CRAWFISH IN BATON ROUGE!

Beyond the seafood, you can enjoy the region’s best local beverage vendors and distilleries, offering craft cocktails, spirits, and other refreshments. A Legacy of Local Flavor and Giving

Crawfête has always been a spectacular event—the 2020 festival drew close to 1,000 people—and it’s more than just a great party. It is one of the premier fundraising events for the Baton Rouge Epicurean Society. All proceeds go directly toward fulfilling our mission of Culinary for a Cause: advancing the Baton Rouge food scene while supporting childhood nutrition, education, and cultivating local talent.

We are proud of the high caliber of talent the event attracts, with past competitors including staples like Tony’s Seafood, Rouj Creole, and Ruffino’s, and beverage partners such as Three Roll Distillery. Crawfête 2026 promises to continue this tradition of excellence, bringing together the best of our city's hospitality community.

The Baton Rouge Epicurean Society’s mission is to enrich the culinary culture for the Capital Area Community while raising funds for childhood nutrition and health initiatives, educational programs and scholarships.

It is a 501(c)3 and membership includes culinary professionals in the capital area including chefs, restaurateurs, caterers, food suppliers and wine and spirit purveyors.
